LOAD-SHIFT TRIGGER

The alarm threshold is set on falling load, not zero load. Leaning forward onto the armrests already crosses it.

ADJUSTABLE DELAY

A 0 - 5 s confirmation window suppresses nuisance alarms from repositioning while keeping the useful head start.

CONTINUITY SUPERVISION

A disconnected or failed pad reports itself. A silent alarm is worse than no alarm at all.
